"I gazed unto the monolith of fire, as it cast flame and destruction down from the heavens. It's touch burnt and charred the earth, it's brilliance boiled the oceans. My skin blistered, and my insides cooked- and then, in an instant it was over. The sky went dark, and a silence choked the now ashen landscape. Within minutes, it grew cold, and in ten I was frostbitten. Although it had burned me, I found myself mourning the loss of our celestial God, who left us blind, and afraid."
Emanuel 15:7
The sun has vanished, casting the earth into eternal darkness. Mankind withers in the dark, cold and afraid. Small blips of light wander the vast ashen landscape, in search of salvation. You play as a lone wanderer, guided only by the gentle flicker of their lantern. With every step you take, the lantern dims, threatening to leave you at the mercy of the dark. Strange noises can be heard just beyond the glow of your lantern, and distant blips of light remind you that you are not alone.

Love the music. The creepy atmosphere and scaring exploration make the game fun to play and easy to understand. navigating is difficult since the map doesn't have a compass but I enjoyed the process of finding new places
Creepy music, great atmosphere pictures, good UI element for the fuel, and the game feels really well thought out! Good job! When I get a chance I want to explore everything.
Wow, that was awesome!! I want to take more time and explore all of the paths because when I got to the ravine, there was no one there. So i'm assuming I have to choose different paths to find the person there. The music really added to the whole lonely and post apocalyptic vibe of the story, I really enjoyed it! My fuel was also stressing me out when I didn't find anyone at the ravine so good thinking on that because it forces you to find more fuel.
Okay, those sound effects are so awesome and atmosphereic. It's so awesome that you actually have a pullout menu where you can adjust the sound! I had my volume up way too loud so I was happy to see this once I was in the game. There are a ton of options for exploring and I'm pumped about that! I also tries and realized I couldn't exploit the lake swing anymore :,) I'm glad though lol, it shouldnt stay broken even if I'm sad about it lol
I really like the amount of sound effects in this, it makes you feel as if you're actually inside the game. Also like the decent options I have to go explore whenever I reach to a new area! Great job!
A few errors right now so I'll wait a little longer for a full crit. Looks very promising!
